Badminton Junior lesson (10-12 years old)

(Beginner and advanced)

The Yukon Badminton Association has been a registered organization under Yukon Corporate Affairs since 1975 and is the Yukon Sport governing body for Badminton. We are fully insured, in compliance, and have certified coaches. We strive to develop junior-age players (ages 10-12) through structured, coached sessions. The play is intended to be friendly-competitive, emphasizing allowing all players, of all skill levels, equal playing time on the available courts.

AGE: 10 years old to 12 years old

SESSIONS DATES: November 17th, 24th and December 1st, 8th, 15th

HOURS: Beginners: 3-4pm, Advanced:4:15-5:15pm

WHAT LEVEL SHOULD I REGISTER MY CHILD:

Beginner: If your child has not taken any class session with badminton Yukon before, or need to learn rules and has not played much badminton before.

Advanced: If your child has taken a series of classes with badminton Yukon in the past couple of years, or your child knows most of the badminton rules and you feel your child is comfortable with holding a racquet.

** We will leave us the option of changing your child group after the first class if we feel it would better learning for him/her/they.

MATERIAL TO BRING:

– Water bottle and non-marking sport shoes/ indoor shoes

– Bet there 10 minutes before

– Badminton rackets and shuttle will be supplied on site

REGISTRATION:

– Registration will be online, and due to limited spaces on badminton courts we will have a maximum of registration accepted (12 per class)

COST:

– $35 per child that will be paid online

Please bring clean and non-marking sports shoes and your own water bottle.

We have badminton racquets available on-site for you, but you are free to bring your own racquet if you have one.
