YOUR YUKON BADMINTON CLUB SINCE 1975
We are a fully compliant and insured registered organization under Yukon Corporate Affairs, as well as the Yukon Sport governing body for badminton.
Our main goal is to support the badminton sport in the Yukon. We have a variety of different drop-in groups with the intent to play friendly – competitive with an emphasis on allowing all players, of all skill levels, equal playing time on the available courts.
The development of junior-age players through structured, coached sessions is also a part of our goals, as well as (depending on our available resources) offering badminton workshops in the Yukon communities.
We support Yukon’s professional badminton athletes on a national and international level, besides running our own Arctic Winter Games team.
AGM INFORMATION
Our AGM will be held at Takhini Cchool on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 5:00pm before adult drop in. There will be archery in the gym so please go up to the stage behind the usual doors you would enter in if you are interested in participating.
The AGM is to go over the last year of YBA activities and to discuss financials, upcoming objectives and raise any other matters that require the board’s attention. We are always looking for new board members if you have any time to support your badminton community!

OUR LATEST NEWS
On a personal note (Ben here) I stepped down as the Secretary and acting Treasurer due to personal reasons, however I will be available at the club until mid-April, open to helping out and see you there. The club desperately needs new volunteers, head over to our Volunteer section on the website to check currently vacant positions.

Currently, our U19 and 18+ drop-ins at Takhini Elementary, as well as our 18+ drop-ins at Golden Horn are temporarily closed for new registrations. This is to ensure the group sizes are not getting too big and current members are getting the court time they paid for.
