Adult Drop-In Sessions Takhini Elementary
Welcome to our Adult Drop-In Group at Takhini Elementary,
The Yukon Badminton Association has been a registered organization under Yukon Corporate Affairs since 1975 and is the Yukon Sport governing body for Badminton. We are fully insured, in compliance, and have certified coaches. We strive to provide a venue for 18-year-old and older players to drop into the scheduled sessions as they choose. The play is intended to be friendly-competitive, emphasizing allowing all players, of all skill levels, equal playing time on the available courts.
Drop-ins are usually available from September to May on
- Wednesdays 7:40 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.,
- as well as Fridays and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.,
except during school breaks and on stat holidays or if the gym is otherwise booked. Please check our calendar for a full list of available drop-ins.
What you need to bring:
- Water Bottle,
- Clean and non-marking sports shoes
We accept Interac as well as all major credit cards on-site, as well as online membership purchases via our webshop. To simplify and take additional workload of our backend admin, we do not accept cash payments. We offer a first try-out session for you to see if you like the club.
After your purchase, you will receive a receipt from YBA @ Square (onsite payments) or Stripe (webshop payments) via email.
Please carefully read our court etiquette and Informed consent and assumption of risk agreement Waiver (18+) prior to your first session.
